  1. What is Compass
  2. ===============
  3. Compass 2.0 is a powerful bookmarking system for BOTH Netscape bookmark
  4. files and Microsoft Internet Explorer favorites.  Compass has not only a
  5. conventional Tree pane for the hierarchical structure of folders, but also
  6. a List pane to give you the control of all bookmarks as a whole.  The
  7. specially designed two panes provide you the power and freedom of working
  8. independently or tracking both together, and a familiar interface of Windows
  9. Explorer type.  Compass has been tested and works with Netscape Navigator
  10. 2.x, 3.x, 4.x, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x on Windows 95.

  13. Compass offers all kind of sorting, statistics information, file importing,
  14. merging, selection exporting, color coded bookmarks, etc. to help you
  15. organize your bookmarks.  Three types of drag & drop operations give you
  16. the ultimate power and ease to manipulate the bookmarks.  The new search
  17. mechanism fulfill your query in a flash.

  20. Compass can dynamically launch your browser, communicate with your browser,
  21. and lead you to your favorite site.  Compass lets you drag links embedded
  22. in a web page and drop them into your bookmark pool.  Need the control of
  23. where new bookmark goes?  A single right-click adds the current link to the
  24. place you clicked.  Want to continue yesterdayÆs surf?  No problem, Compass
  25. starts with that page for you.
